Understand states and alerts
The number, step and timer explain the wait; color is always accompanied by another cue.
Read the waiting level
Thresholds depend on the step and venue. They are prepared with the Kelna team and fixed for each service; example durations are not universal recommendations.
| Level | How to recognize it |
|---|---|
| Open | Dashed outline; no wait in progress. |
| Within the threshold | Neutral surface and a duration within the threshold for a waiting step. |
| Watch | Amber fill with a symbol and label. |
| Late | Red fill with a double outline, symbol and label. |

The queue at the pass
The pass highlights up to three priority waits, late before watch, then by descending duration. All tables remain visible on the plan.
A red table signals a wait for the team to check. The signal assigns no blame to an individual.
